DeVry University’s Chicago Metro Offices continues its commitment to the already successful Student Worker Help Desk Program by providing students access to industry thought leaders and best practices to enable recent graduates and current students the opportunity to obtain excellent entry level and internship opportunities.
New to the Help Desk Advisory Board, BridgePoint Technologies and its Senior Staffing Consultant, Chris Nutt, met with the University to discuss its role in the program. Michael Provenzale, the Director of IT in the Chicago Metro Offices provided guidance to BridgePoint in order to outline their goals. “BridgePoint Technologies will provide key insight into market trends, best hiring practices and share open opportunities with DeVry students around the Chicago-land area,” comments Chris Nutt for BridgePoint.
In addition to defining the company’s role, Provenzale provided a detailed walk through of DeVry’s Student-Worker Help Desk Program. The program is designed to prepare DeVry’s students for corporate level networking and helpdesk opportunities by providing the student-worker with an extensive hands-on training program in real-life working environments. DeVry’s Job Board, Career Fairs and Student Worker programs are a tremendous asset to the students and alumni. BridgePoint’s team looks forward to working with the University and the Career Services Department and is grateful for the opportunity to be part of this highly valuable program.
